Thank you for expressing your interest in United4Literacy (U4L)! If you are chosen to be a part of our team, you would be helping in our goal to enrich and empower the learning of all children. To apply, you must be at least 15 years of age, and must be a Canadian high school student or undergraduate student. Volunteer hours will be provided/signed off for volunteers upon request. A U4L term will last one year, at which it can be renewed if interested. As well, all volunteers will have one month to fully withdraw from the program upon start time.
We are looking for three major roles: Social Media Coordinator, Graphic Designer, and Events/Outreach Coordinator. Each role will have three spots available (Events/Outreach Coordinator role may be expanded to more positions). Organization meetings will occur twice a month, and Slack is used for internal communication.
The current U4L National Ambassadors’ team will evaluate applicants. Applications will close September 25th at 11:59 EST. Successful applicants will be interviewed in late October. All successful applicants will be notified early November.
