Literacy is one of the most powerful tools one can possess. At United4Literacy, we believe in empowering children locally and globally by granting the gift of education.
We strive to improve children’s quality of life by bringing to them the powerful tool of literacy which mobilizes them and allows them to advance in life. Our efforts at United4Literacy lie in bringing empowerment through equitable, high-quality education in the lives of children around the world.
We look to provide solutions to obstacles that prevent children from achieving their full potential and obtaining the education they deserve so they can ultimately make a difference in their communities.
Making A Measurable Change
Ground-based missions are a key step of U4L in its vision of literate children in rural India. The mission involves fundraising and collaborating with organizations to educate children. At United4Literacy we conduct various fundraisers throughout the year within our community. The pillar of our ground based mission is our various fundraisers and awareness events supporting students in rural India or students in various provinces of Canada.
Reaching out through the web
The purpose of the cloud based mission is to spread awareness of the importance of literacy. It is also to share our vision with the global community through the biggest catalyst for change: the internet. The mission implements many initiatives to promote literacy as well as spread the vision of United4Literacy. Some of these initiatives include the United4Literacy blog, our social media, and this website which lies at the heart of our cloud based mission.
