Lunchboxes4Literacy (L4L) is an annual major fundraising event as part of our ground-based mission. The event involves the United4Literacy team and dedicated volunteers from the community coming together to cook and deliver authentic Indian lunches to generous supporters.
In 2014, the first annual L4L event raised enough money to support the education of 6 children in rural India. In 2015, 430 orders were placed for authentic Indian food; funding numerous more children in rural India. From 2016, L4L became our annual event to successfully sponsor education of children in rural India, running yearly until the COVID-19 Pandemic.
United4Literacy is looking to resume L4L in May 2023 for the first time in four years. More information regarding orders will be posted at a later date.
